Program overview

The Professional Certification Program is an all-in-one track for individuals starting from scratch and aiming to graduate as a certified professional polygraph examiner. The first 8 weeks deliver the complete foundational curriculum. Weeks 9 through 12 focus on advanced technique mastery, complex case management, and professional certification preparation.

Students graduating from this program will have completed the equivalent of both the Basic Polygraph Course and the advanced certification track in a single continuous cohort.

Students build on foundational technique knowledge to select, combine, and apply validated examination protocols across a broader range of evidentiary, investigative, and screening contexts.

Complex Case Management

Students demonstrate the ability to manage and execute multi-issue examinations, including proper structuring of question sets, presentation sequences, and documentation for complex case scenarios.

Reducing Inconclusive Outcomes

Students apply targeted preparation strategies, improve data quality practices, and use decision analysis frameworks to reduce inconclusive rates in their examination work product.

Quality Control & Peer Review

Students participate in structured peer review exercises, evaluating charts, reports, and exam documentation for compliance with professional standards and sound methodology.

Professional Standards for Certification

Students demonstrate understanding of the professional competency requirements that apply to certified examiners, including documentation standards, case retention, and professional conduct obligations.

Comprehensive Examinations & Certification Preparation

Students complete comprehensive written and practical examinations demonstrating mastery of all core and advanced competencies. Passing these examinations is required for program completion.
