Our mission
To develop competent, ethical, operationally effective polygraph examiners who can work in investigative, screening, and public-safety settings — and to do it under the same Education Accreditation Committee standards used by APA-accredited schools.
How we teach
We treat polygraph as a professional method, not a lecture series:
- Scientific foundations in psychology, physiology, and testing theory
- Validated techniques, question construction, and test data analysis
- Daily labs, chart review, and supervised mock examinations
- Ethics, APA Standards of Practice, and human-rights instruction in the student’s practice jurisdiction
- Instruction in Spanish or English — the language of the examination room
Accreditation status
VCATC is preparing for APA EAC accreditation. We do not claim to be accredited.
